This Baked Chocolate Cake Donuts recipe perfectly combines a luscious chocolate cake and a donut in each bite. Ingredients
1 14 cups
allpurpose flour
34 cup
granulated sugar
14 cup
HERSHEYS SPECIAL DARK Cocoa
1 12 tsps
baking powder
34 tsp
salt
12 cup
buttermilk or sour milk

eggs beaten
3 Tbsps
butter melted
2 tsps
vanilla extract
powdered sugar optional
Chocolate Glaze
12 cup
HERSHEYS SemiSweet Chocolate Chips
2 Tbsps
light corn syrup
2 Tbsps
butter
1 tsp
hot water
Directions
Heat oven to 350F. Grease the two donut pans or prepare pans as directed by the manufacturer.

Stir the flour granulated sugar cocoa baking powder and salt in a large mixing bowl and set aside.

Combine the buttermilk or sour milk eggs butter and vanilla and add to the flour mixture. Stir until dry ingredients are evenly moistened. Do not overmix.

Divide batter equally into the donut wells filling approximately 23 full.

Bake for 8 to 9 minutes or until the top springs back when lightly touched. Cool in the pan on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Remove from pans. Cool the donuts completely on the wire rack.

Before serving roll the donuts in powdered sugar or coat them with the chocolate glaze and garnish as desired. Donuts are best if eaten the day they are made.
Chocolate Glaze Place 12 cup HERSHEYS SemiSweet Chocolate Chips 2 tablespoons light corn syrup and 2 tablespoons butter in a medium microwavesafe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM 50 in 20second increments until chips are melted. Stir in 1 teaspoon hot water adding more hot water 12 teaspoon at a time if needed until the mixture is smooth. Makes about 12 cup of glaze.
