Sweet Symphony Cotton Candy Cake
This delightful cake is flavored with cotton candy and features a creamy white chocolate pudding filling, topped with fluffy whipped topping and more cotton candy!
Ingredients
1 box white cake mix
¼ teaspoon cotton candy flavoring
2 boxes white chocolate instant pudding mix
3 cups milk
1 packet cotton candy
Food coloring (optional)
Instructions
1. Prepare the Cake:
Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the cake mix box.
In a mixing bowl, prepare the cake batter as directed, adding ¼ to ½ teaspoon of cotton candy flavoring.
Pour the batter into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan.
Bake according to package instructions. Once done, let the cake cool on a rack for 5-10 minutes.
2. Add the Pudding:
Once the cake has cooled slightly, poke holes in it using the back of a wooden spoon.
In another bowl, mix the instant pudding with 3 cups of milk and a few drops of food coloring (if using).
Quickly pour the pudding mixture over the cake, ensuring it seeps into the holes.
3. Chill and Top:
Chill the cake in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
After chilling, cover the top with Cool Whip or your favorite whipped topping.
Garnish generously with cotton candy before serving.
